·      Previous experience working as an admin for a small business owner is preferred.


What you’ll be responsible for…

·      Manage your workload efficiently to respond to all Tanorria’s Table e-mails and phone calls within two business days on average.

·      Serve as the first line of fact-finding for potential clients by e-mail and phone.

·      Establish best practices for customer service protocols.

·      Analyze repeat customer traffic through e-mail and online channels like social media for opportunities to improve customer service experiences.

·      Maintain healthy file organization of Microsoft Teams.

·      Chat Support during virtual cooking demonstrations and speeches.

·      Handle minor tech issues related to virtual events and behind-the-scenes communications such as Zoom and Squarespace.

·      Create calendar events and invites.

·      Assist in the documentation of internal SOPs and processes.

·      Identify and address future administrative needs as the company grows to support the team.

·      Use our content calendar and database to copy and prepare content to schedule for publishing to Facebook and Pinterest weekly.

·      Create and execute strategy in passive income channels such as Like.it.to.know.it, RS Style, and Amazon Associates.

·      Prepare branded materials for client engagements, such as virtual cooking demos and online classes.

·      Assist with seasonal food product distribution, like labeling jars, packing marshmallows, and preparing packages for shipping.

·      Assist with e-mail subscriber communications, including writing and delivering some content.

·      Perform administrative tasks on tanorriastable.com, such as proofreading website content, supporting SEO, and loading recipes and blog posts.

·      Conduct research for special projects. 


You’ll be super successful if you…

·      Have customer service experience.

·      Are proficient in Microsoft software such as Word & Excel.

·      Are proficient in programs such as Squarespace, Flodesk, Canva, and Adobe.

·      Write clearly and concisely.

·      Maintain and organize your workflows.

·      Stay up to date with social media and other tech.

·      You are great at making lists and checking items off them quickly and efficiently.

·      Pay an obnoxious amount of attention to details.  Overkill is good here!

·      Are self-motivated to find the answer yourself before asking someone.

·      Have high emotional intelligence.

·      Can handle influxes in workload while completing tasks on time.

·      Handle awkward conversations with empathy, tact, and composure.

·      Are transparent about what you don’t know or what is overwhelming you.

·      You are comfortable working remotely but are local to Indianapolis, IN.

·      Understand the challenges and benefits of working with a small business versus a large company.   

Let's be real...

The hours will be inconsistent at times. We will need you consistently for basic admin tasks like e-mails, phone calls, and social media tasks, but we will also require you to be fully present during big projects, special launches, and promotions.There will be some peak volume periods, and you will be expected to conquer those times just as well as during the slower times.

Patience is a virtue necessary to do this job well. Some tasks may seem repetitive, and on the same token, things might switch up quickly. You will be expected to maintain your workload during both.

We’re in this for the long haul. While this position is currently part-time, our goal is to grow this position into a full-time role. This is NOT a good fit for someone looking to build their own business.

We are a semi-virtual company. You will get to do most of your job from home, but there will be times where you are required to support Tanorria on site.

We talk about some challenging topics, and getting comfortable with the uncomfortable will make you successful at this job. If you are not familiar with navigating your own personal anti-racist journey, then this job isn’t right for you.

HOURLY WAGE

$17 - 22 per hour
