Christmas Magic Cookie Bars
I’ve been making Magic Cookie Bars with my Mom for years. It even became one of my go-to desserts to make if I had to make something in a pinch or was trying to save money when taking something into a pitch-in for work.
The best thing about magic cookie bars is that you can mix and match what you put on them. From chocolate to white chocolate. From peanut butter to butterscotch. The sky is the limit!
Alyssa Raymond of WTHR and I made some quick and easy magic cookie bars for Christmas. What a fun and unique thing to leave out for Santa? It’s incredibly easy to get kids involved with this dessert and include some toppings they might enjoy!

- 4 Tbsp (1/2 stick) butter, melted
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup coconut (optional)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips

- Remove pan from oven and spread sweetened condensed milk over graham cracker crust. Top sweetened condensed milk with a layer of chocolate chips. Follow with peanut butter chips. Continue with coconut, then pretzels. Finish with M&Ms.
- Bake cookie bars for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
- Cut into squares and ENJOY!
